Do It Yourself Lasagna

Black Bean Lasagna

Don’t be afraid to use different ingredients when making lasagna. Try the traditional lasagna recipes with noodles, meat and cheese or use a recipe that fits you and your family: noodle-less; dairy free; or vegetarian. There are so many variations!

Experiment with layers of zucchini, eggplant or acorn squash, tofu and black beans or try our spaghetti squash lasagna. Lighten up the recipe with fat free cottage cheese or ricotta, vegetables instead of noodles for fewer carbohydrates or gluten free. Add layers of your favorite vegetables and herbs or keep it very simple.

If you have a vegetable or herb garden, have some fun and pick homegrown—tastes the very best. We have included a Spaghetti Squash Lasagna recipe--low in carbs in high in flavor as well as vegetarian and gluten free..
