Thank you to guest blogger Tamar Goldfischer for her great Broccoli-Pistacchio Recipe!
Broccoli-Pistachio Salad
With warm weather arriving, this bright, fresh and light Broccoli-Pistacchio Salad is just the what we crave. Perfect for a side dish for lunch or dinner and great for buffets. My husband eats leftover salad for breakfast!
The pistacchios give the salad a little crunch, a salty taste and great visual appeal.
When my husband and I were invited to Tamar Goldfischer’s for lunch and tasted this salad, we knew it was a keeper! Now it’s a favorite at our house.
Thank you, Tamar!

Catana Tully's memoir, Split At the Root, takes us on an intense journey into identity, motherhood and what labels mean. At times despondent, at time joyful, the author pulled herself apart until she found her core.
Catana's two mothers were very different from the other. Her birth mother was a Guatamalen of color and the mother who raised her a white German. Today, Catana checks the "other" box on forms regarding her identity.
Her search for identity nearly broke her apart. How Catana Tully puts herself back together is a story worth reading.
