No Tahini Humus

No tahini humus

Yields 1 cup

1 cup garbanzo beans(chickpeas)
1/4-1/2 cup bean liquid
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 large garlic clove, sliced
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Salt to taste
Sriracha or hot sauce to taste


1. Add all ingredients to a blender and purée until smooth.

2. Divide humus in half.  Add Sriracha to one half of mixture.

3. Taste both mixtures for seasoning.
