  1. Limit Bread:  

    1. Try bagel or sandwich thins or thinly sliced bread.

    2. Eat whole grain bread, with higher fiber.

    3. Use high fiber wraps that are lower in carbs. For example, try tortillas for pizza crusts. 

  2. Stevia: Take sugar out and bring stevia in for coffee and tea, baking and cooking needs.

  3. Use smaller plates: You can fill them up, satisfy your eyes and eat less without trying! 

  4. Read labels:  How many carbs and how much sugar are in any product that we buy?  Many products have hidden sugars—don’t buy those products.

  5.               Look for expand the table diabetic options.
